I have a mac os x 10.3.8 operating system that was given to me by an organization that it still has an administrator password on it I do not know. I can't install certain programs without admin permission. I have no cd's for the mac, juts the laptop itself. But I have a windows pc that is ready to archive anything that is needed. Any help would be great.
Try ebay for restore discs. They usually come in sets of two to four. I had this problem last year with a powerbook I bought and had the password problem. There is also a way to go through some coding to reset the password to anything you like, i have no idea where that site was, but search on google for something like: "reset admin password on a powermac" you know the drill
