    Hi,
I am not sure but Mobile Phone Tools should allow you to retrieve your text messages and also your e-mails. It should also allow to send them.

Go in to your 'Main Menu'
    then 'Setup'
    then 'General Setup'
    [bold]OR[/bold]
    Press 'F6'

This will bring a dialouge box up called General Setup.
Chose the 'Communication' tab, located at the along the top.
You will see some check-boxes called
    -Send is active
    -Recieve is active
    -Keep finished transmissions
[bold]Make sure the first two are checked[/bold], it is up to you about the third, but your phone would generally store them in your inbox.

You can go through the other tabs and change the settings to your prefernces.

When you have finished, click on 'OK'

Then go back to the 'Main Menu'
    Click on 'Recieve'
    then 'Retrieve SMS'
    [bold]OR[/bold]
    press 'CTRL+S'

It will attempt to retrieve your text messsages.

    Then either:
    Go to 'Main Menu
    Go to 'Recieve'
    then 'Inbox'
    [bold]OR[/bold]
    press 'F4'

This is will bring your 'Inbox' up.
You can chose to either look at just your e-mails, just your text messages or both together.

If this isn't what's wrong then, i got nuthin.

    Hope it solves the problem

    Gemma

thanx Gemma. what did the trick was updating to the latests MPT. i can retrieve them perfectly, but my outbox msgs all show the sent date of then i plug the phone to the laptop, not the actual send date.

but HEY! you can't have everything in this world, right? it would be a very boring world that one.

    thanx again!!!
