Okay i have cable (Videotron) im connected at 5.1 mbps i download at 500~600 kbps and upload at 70~80 kbps. we have 4 tv with cable and 1 booster "EDA 2100" . My problem is i would like to know if it is possible to make my internet faster. I know i can uncap my modem in some way but that is illegal and risky. I just formated my cumputer and reinstalled windows so no spyware and i did a bandwith test multiple times and it gives me 4749.7 Kbps (4.7 mbps) 582.1 K bytes/sec What can i do to go faster. 1. Can i add a second booster to the cable that is going to my modem. 2. would disconnecting the tv in my room make it go faster?
