Just had an idea.... I have a coax running through the walls from my ntl box upstairs to a wall mounted tv downstairs. I have just bought a starview box that ive swapped with the ntl box.. If i used a cable splitter & connected the ntl box back where it was upstairs but with one end of the splitter to the coax that runs to downstairs tv & connected the starview to the other end downstairs - would this work? This may be a very stupid question (but hey - I dont know the answer so here goes) can a cable splitter be connected to a normal coax cable - or is it a completely different type of cable? Please somebody put me out of my cable tv connectivity misery so I can sleep tonight!!
Yea mate cable splitter can be used to split a coax cable in to 2 coax cable for 2 seperate cable connections.
