I've got a bunch of avi files I've gotten through my camcorder. I edited them with vegas and saved a 2gb avi file. I now want to get this to work on a dvd so I dl'd tmpeg and converted it to a mpeg. I burned just that file to a cd and it plays in my dvd player, but it's half speed. Figuring since its not really in dvd format yet I didn't worry. So I then used roxio dvd creator using the mpeg and it plays half speed most of the time, unless I've just come from the menu it'll play normal for a few seconds then slow way down again, weird! Anyways whats a good way, that'll play normal speed, to get these avi's to the dvd video_ts format???
ok I went into vegas and the project specs are: NTSC DV (720x480, 29.97 fps), field order - lower field first, pixel aspect - .9091 (NTSC DV) I then went through the TMPEG and got the .m2v and .mp2 files. Used IFOEDIT to create the IFO and VOB dvd files. Burned them with roxio in a VIDEO_TS folder onto a cd because the file is about 600 mb. It will only play on one of my dvd players and is super choppy and about half speed. My other players wont even recognize the disk. Whats goin on here???
