camcorder mini dvd-r movies to conventional dvd-r

    hi all, i own an early hitachi dvd camcorder of which the mini dvd-r discs wont play in my panasonic dvd player [the mini dvd ram discs will] I have many mini dvd-r home movies that I would like to convert to a conventional dvd-r format that will play. It seems a lot of effort [time consuming] to go via the video capture route with a movie editing program to simply go from 8 cm to 12cm dvd! does anyone have any tips or links to apropriate sites?

    Just do a disk copy with any burning software.
