I was just wondering how to transfer my video form my MiniDV camcorder to my PC. I have ULead Video Studio and i was told all i have to do is plug in the firewire cord and it will "download" but i did that and nothing happens. How do i do it? And is there a different program i need? I am sure i installed the card right, cause I went to the add/remove hardware and i clicked on it and it says it is working fine, so I dont know. Any help Please!!
First, you have to check if your videocam is connected to the PC properly. If you are using WinXP, go to My Computer and you shd see the icon. The video will not download automatically. You have to start the capturing in Ulead Video Studio.
