I have Nero Express 6 Program. I am trying to save images from my camera (olympus) to a DVD+R to play on my Sony DVD to view on my TV. I was told that the Nero Program would do this??!! Does the camera image (jpeg) have to be converted?! Thank you
If your stand-alone DVD player does "slide shows" then you should only have to make a data DVD and just drag and drop the .jpg files on it. The player should recognize there's a bunch of .jpg files and start showing them. Unless you want to do something fancy with menus or something. I use Nero Burning Rom so it's a bit different from express but there should be a choice to make a data disc.
Thank you for the response. The problem I am having is burning the DVD disc. The Nero program won't recognize the jpg. I did a DVD data as you stated but the DVD player says "NO DISC". I was wondering if I needed to make a disc with a stated time line per photo??!!
you should be able to burn your images onto a DVD using 'NeroVision Express 3' and no, you don't need to convert the files. nerovison express - make dvd - dvd video - make slide show - browse for media............. hope this helps.
Guyy Thank you for the information. I made a slide program with NeroVision Express 3 with automatic time setting and tried to burn it but after the burn (attempt) a dialog box came up "Sorry your compilation cannot be written on this type of dics. Please insert disc of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make them compatible with the current disc". The DVD disc I am using is a DVD+R. I am able to burn reg DVD to this disc and play them on the TV DVD player with out a problem but not the slide program. Thank you
