Can a recorded DVD+R(W) disc run on my Playstation2 ?

    My rich uncle only has a Phillips DVD recorder - but can a recorded DVD+R(W)disc run on my Playstation 2 ?

    Most + DVD media isn't a good idea on the PS2, especially +RW. I'd reccommend trying a -r media. What version is your PS2, anyways?

    Well, I have a HP200i DVD+R/+RW writer.
    I can play both DVD+R and even DVD+RW copies on my PS2 (version 5 PAL).
    I use Platinum and HP DVD+R. Works all the time.

    Depends on the PS2 version. Version 4 and forwards can also play DVD+r. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]AfterDawn Addict

    Yeah, later than version 4 cn play +R no problems. However, you might start to run into problems with RW, who knows. Test it and see.....
