can a softmodded ntsc xbox play pal backups?

    I have a softmodded NTSC xbox (I cannot remember which installer I used) with unleashx running as my current dash. I have been burning my backups with no problems at all and they've been playing perfectly. I wanted to know if I can play backed up Pal games, and if so do I need any special programs? Thanks!

    Mine does... Mine is a very early version though.. My friends is more new and does not play Pal.

    mine is a V1.0 and the only way i can play is if i copy the game to my hard drive and play it that way

    I have a thompson DVD drive. I have no issue what so ever playing pal backups.
