I'm trying to burn a .avi of a movie to a DVD+R in Nero Vision Express under make your own dvd-video......first, it transcodes the menu and titles...wtf?, is this supposed to happen? and it takes an hour just for that before it can burn the DVD...anyone know something that wont save the file as a temp file like nero does and burn straight to the dvd disk and fast and at an ok/good quality and is reliable?
if you want to burn AVI or whatever to 'dvd-video' format you either have to convert to dvd format via Nerovision Express as you are doing, or try VSO's divxtodvd (look in software section at top of page; guides are in guides section up top too)
