Zip 100 internal drive and a generic 3.5 floppy drive. Windows XP Professional Operating System. HP Deskjet 3520 inkjet printer and a KDS X Flat 17 inch CRT monitor. I have heard that norton corporate anti virus or Zone Alarm is good...any others?
Forget firewalls when it comes to P2P. Most P2P software overrides the firewall settings and forces incoming data to be allowed on its primary port. The minute you say "Download", no firewall in the world will protect you if it's harmful, that's the antivirus's job.
