can I block other people from printing even though I let them use my comp?

I have a kid that cleans my apt and I let him use my comp to find walkthroughs and codes for his video games. The last walkthrough he printed was 246 pages long and we put a new ink cartridge in so he could print it. Since the last cartridge printed so light he put the setting on the darkest and used the ENTIRE thing of ink in 1 print job. I told him no more printing until he buys more ink.... needless to say he printed again today while he was cleaning and I was at work. Is there a way to password protect the printer?

    Option 1,
stop him from using your PC.

    Option 2,
Give him a good hard slapping(twice to be sure).

    Option 3,
    Stop it from his wages.

    Option 4,
    Get another cleaner.

You would have to create a separate user account for him and then on the printer properties security tab deny access to his account. As long as he logs on under your account he has the same privileges as you.

MrTazUK probably had the best solution. If he won't stop doing it deduct it from his wages.

just set up an account for the person but restrict access to the serial ports for that user. and put a password on your account.

I would go with Mr_Taz_UK's opinion. Or maybe just find the info for him, put it on a disk and send him to Kinkos to print it with the money you pay him. Or charge him for each page. Just a few choices.

Thanks everyone. I docked his wages and took the connector thingy. He got another connector thingy and did it any ways. I now have a new housekeeper. lol Password protected the comp too.
