Can I burn a DVD

    I have a new sony cdr. Can I burn DVD's? I have seen a few web sites that says it can help me. Can it? Does any one have an suggestions on where to go for the needed software?

    Mmmmmm, you cant burn DVD with a CD burner. Unless the Model you have is a COMBO .. that is it's a DVD/CD burner. What model do you have ?

    Its a Sony. I have to check at home to see exactly wich one. Thanks
