If my question sounds retarded, please forgive me, but i am a newbie! My dad recently bought a DVD/CD writer combo, can i copy DVD's with it. I did a check on the writer and it isn't compatible to write to DVD-R's, ut is there software i can get to make it compatible?
Youve answered your own question, no, get your dad to take it back and order a burner off the net for 80 notes, as you probably paid about 40 for the combo. It will do the same job but burn dvds. The best you could with the combo is do vcds. Theres lots of software around to do them but the quality is on par with vhs or lower and is time consuming. However it is good learning curve.
