I have nero burning rom and I tried copying my diablo 2 lod cd with it. Not to my surprise, it didn't work. I put in the copied cd to play nothing happens, the drive tries to read the cd... doesn't go any further. Is there any way to make a working copy with nero? There are options like.. data tracks: ignore read errors, write defect sectors, read sectors in raw mode, read all subchannel data audio tracks: ignore read errors, read indexes of audio data, read all subchannel data i do not know what any of that means. i know diablo 2 uses securom but that's aobut it. I have a Plextor PX-708A
Nero won't do protections. Diablo 2 uses SecuROM 4.xx so your best bet will be BlindWrite5 and BlindWrite5 Tweaker. Your Plexy 708A is an outstanding drive - I've used mine to make excellent backups of SecuROM 4 games.
