can i copy things on my chip??

    i just got a mod chip and and i wanted to know 1 thing:

    1. can i rent a game and put it on my chip and play it forever

    if so plz tell me so i can go and jump for joy!!! :)

    You don't copy the game onto the chip. You can back up the game onto the hard drive with a program such as DVD2XBOX, or you can do it through some dashboards (e.g. Avalaunch)

    However what you are talking about is a serious breach of the law, and it's not really fair to the developers who spend countless months developing the games we love so much. I do believe that you can make a personal backup of a game you purchased, but as for rentals I would tread carefully.

    ya i know its not fair but i dont get that much money and by doing this i can play games over and over for half the $$price$$

    The only thing that is stored on the chip is the BIOS, and sometimes an eeprom backup.
