hey guys, i need help knowing if my windows xp pro can run any of the later versions of mac osx, preferable a version that runs garageband, please, all help is appreciated.
OK good news and bad news! bad news=NO! u cant install mac on a pc , macs use hardware that windows pcs just doesnt have but... good news=theres a program that im actually using right now its called flyakite osx and it make any windows xp pc look and feel and run better than any mac on the market i luv it and ive been usind it for about 1 and a half years. Caffeine is correct but if you have a popular program such as firefox you can skin that app too. there is many skins for programs like that it just takes up time and space and will really slow down your computer but if you are really intrested you can download these kinds of skin modification. *i dont recomened you change the look of you programs because it is altering its gui and can be complicated and dangerous to your computer if you dont have the basic "know how". *i wonder if DVDBack23 can do a mac osx skin for programs thats requested he's the man when it comes to art design. I respect him!
ya it sucks, ever since apple released, Boot Camp, ive been drooling over the new MacBook Pros with intel Core Duo(2.0 GHz!!!) and an ATI X1600 w/ 256mb!!! all for only around 2000-2500 bucks, not bad for that style and specs, too bad ill never have that much money.
