well i want a powerbook, but i dont know if i like osx, so, can i put osx on my pc to try, i mean a laptop is a laptop...

but then isnt technically a regular laptop with windows cheaper and more "game-friendly"...

and yes, i have spent the last 4 hours reading applegeeks issue 1-175...

and yes i will spend the next 2 reading 175-266...

and, well, forget i asked... i hate linux in all its forms!

even though i have a bajillion distros lying round here...

which is the best one to use?

ya know, if i had more money... id just have one of each...

so how can i get more money? like loads more?

You should get a MAC now because the newest ones can have Windows XP AND Mac OS on it.

yes you can run mac os x on a pc laptop let me explain there is a macintosh emulator that emulates mac os 9.2.2 and mac os 8.0 and mac os 10 and it works great you can do this this way but if you truly want to try out mac os x go out and purchase a cheap g3 tower or imac usually there around 50.00 to 150.00 for a g3 tower and try out os x and see what you think

    pearpc

    but it has limitations

first you have to use a mac rom which is illegal 2nd you have to have a legal copy of os x not a cd-r or backup copy
