Can i make an svcd with a standard cd-rewriter...?

    Can anyone tell me if i can make an svcd with a standard cd-rewriter? Thats Because i dont know if i can write onto a dvd-r media disc using a cd-writer.

    Yes.You dont write onto a dvd,just a normal cd. All files must be turned into mpeg-2 format(dvd).

    ive got a cd-writer only, my svcd files r about 2.0gb or sometimes even more, so i want to know dat if i can write on da dvd-r disc with a cd-writer? Or do i need a dvd-writer ro write on a dvd-r disc? Sorry also wat u said dere i didn't really get but thx 4 da help anyway

    You are supposedto split the files for different cd's. 2 gigs is a lot and will take 3 cd's just to burn, you should look into vbr svcd!!
