well this is what happened my friend gave me his xbox and he had it softmodded with run linux and he modded halo 2 so he got banned from halo 2 mm so i need help i have always wanted to play halo 2 on live so i want to make a new account on the same xbox but i dont know if theirs a way i could erase the mods and the maps and make a new account on the same xbox and download the new maps all over again and would i be able to play mm without getting banned since they already banned the account that my friend was using cause i want to play mm so badly so if you know how to erase the mods and how i could make a new account on the same xbox without getting banned can you please help and please dont tell me that i need a new xbox i want to know a different way so that i could use the same xbox thanx.
you would need to remove the softmod completely so make sure that in the C drive are these files Audio Fonts XboxDashData.185ead00 xodash Xbox Book.xtf Xbox.xtf XboxDash.xbe and then delete everything off of the E Drive,just to be safe including all of the saves...and it should be back to unmodded state...
