    Helloo Praetor..

I have a licensed wmv file, and willing to understand more about your answer ( Play and simultaneous record )?? What I want is that I want to keep this file forever on my HardDrive.. or be able to convert it into a VCD format using the Tmpg..

With audio you can use something called Radio Ripper or the Recorder function for Soundblaster cards to record exactly what you hear (you probably wont be able to to do more than stereo unless you take the time and record individual channels and that can get messy and time consuming).

With the video component, you can do video-out to video-in and record it that way. There are also streaming recorders and screenshot-type proggies that may be up to the task. :)

    That sounds very interesting..!

Ofcourse all what I am looking for is about Video files enrypted with DRM, and Streaming clips through RealOne.

I thought at the beggining about outputing the video .wmv file and record it, but I thought that there might be some ripper programs that maybe useful more than the recording way.

Sooo whats the deal about Streaming recorders.?? Can you advise? at least from where to start ?

Dont worry I wont be making any illegal stuff.

Ok give me an idea on how to output it from PC?
Is there any hardware decoders that decodes this encoded encrypted .wmv file? by the way until now my liscence hasnt finished.!!

When i said "dont do that stuff" i left out an implied "i" hehe.

The process i kinda described requires for you to be able to play the file so I dont think it would be very useful unless your friend could play it and had tv-out blah blah blah.
