Is it possible to transfer exisiting projects in Nero Vision to a new computer (XP to Vista)? I have imported about 250 videos in a project that I revise periodically. I want to save all the editing I've done to the imported video, so I don't have to re-import and re-edit again. Installing Nero 8 on Vista is the easy part. But I need to transfer the projects and still access the movies for further editing. Is this possible or advisable? How is it done? Thanks
Hi, to be honest this is just a guess, and i have never used vista, or nero 8, but when you insert the disc(s) into your dvd drive it should give you the option to rip dvd to hard drive. Hope this is of use. P.s I don't suppose you know anything about multiple files (avi) going out of sync with nero do you? Paul
i would say possible yes, need to locate all files used and nero's file compilation file, the one you click to load all other things into nero... may have to have the same locations on the new pc as in C:\my holiday snaps\august\photos\ as this may be written in nero's save compilation file ? and if not the same nero wont find it.
