Every time I reply to a thread I find myself subscribed to it and I receive an email whenever someone posts in it. I've worked out how to unsubscribe, but I'd prefer that I didn't get automatically subscribed in the first place. ... Okay, I just noticed the check box in the Advanced options, labeled "Check this box, if you want to get email notifications when new messages are added to this thread." So I guess un-checking that will fix my problem, but will it stay un-checked or will I have to un-check it every time I post?
Don't know how to do it automaticlly, but there is a little box under advanced options that you can uncheck to never be subscribed to it. Look right under the 'Preview, Post Reply' buttons for it.
Theres an easy way to cut the annoyance.. Just get a free mail account somewhere, like mail.com..cashette, mailus, and a great host of others. Assign that to your AD account, log into it once a week and just delete everything. Works for me...
