So my first experience using NDS homebrew was with my G6 slot-2 card. After about a year of working flawlessly it gave up the ghost. I had no idea what was wrong and just figured it was a lost cause. Recently, I purchased my first R4. Works great, can't complain in the least. On a whim, I decided to put my G6 card in slot-2 and attempted to boot it via the R4. Wow! It worked! All the games I had loaded on the G6 were still there and in working order. This leads me to believe that the USB device for loading ROMs is messed up and not the card itself. So my real question is this: Can I use the R4 in conjunction with the G6 slot-2 to play GBA games or will I have to bite the bullet and buy an M3 or EZ-Flash?
There is no way to play GBA games on the R4 card, the game actually has to be physically on the slot-2 device. (The R4 simply acts as a passcart). Looks like you may need to consider another device.
