Hi guys, I am a noob so don't laugh at me if my question sounds stupid . Let's say I have a MKV file that is a movie ripped from a BD. Now I want to burn that movie but the thing is that it is only 4.5gb and my blank BD is 25gb capacity. So if I burn the movie into my BD then later can I burn another movie to that BD again? Thank you very much. htp367
u can burn that 4.5gb to dvd u don't need bd if u still wanna use bd's use bd-re which is br-rw eraseable
Thank you, vamsilak. If I burn that to dvd then will I need a blu-ray disc player to play that dvd. The fact is that I did burn it to a dvd and all of my dvd player can not play it. Thank you. htp367
yes ur ps3 should play it the reason why the dvd player doesn't read the content is still hi-def 1080p and the structure is bluray structure blu ray structure is not comptable for standard dvd player it should play it on bluray player and ps3
Not sure if it would apply in your case but the burning program you use make sure you set the burn to be able to add more files later,in my case on occasion i use record now that came with the hp burner,it has a setting where if i'm not careful it will make the disk write once only regardless of how much empty space is on the disk. EDIT: Assuming you want to add more files to a BD which i assume you could do ps: no need to refer me to other burning programs to use,i already use nero & imgburn
