Can Lite-On LVW-5005X DVD recorders be hacked for Macrovision?

    Hi,

    According to old posts from 2005 I've read, Lite-On LVW-500X DVD recorders can't be hacked to get rid of Macrovision. Now that it's 2007, can this be done??????????????????? Thanks in advance.

    But the 5005x can be hacked to be a ILO RO4 [mdbe by liteon]it can than be hacked as such. One can go back to a 5005x etc
