Can mp3 files be burnt to dvd-r media

    I Have been converting all my cd audio tracks to mp3 files and are wondering if these files can be burnt to dvd-r discs and played on a stand alone dvd player.

    Currently I am not aware of any DVD player that could do this.

    DVD players will play mp3 CD-R's......

    While it is true that many dvd players will play CD's with mp3's it seems that all of them will look upon a dvd+-r/rw as a movie and will not see the mp3 data, stick to cd's if you want to play them on your dvd-player
