Can Pioneer DVR X-152 be used without Nero???

    I have purchased the Pioneer DVR X-152 and can't get it to burn on my Toshiba satellite L35 S12151.

    I am not very knowledgeable in the dvd burning process, but I am not too fond of the Nero program that came with the burner.

    I use windows movie maker for my editing and want to burn dvd's from there. I may just simply not know how to do this. (Please help)

    Is there any way to do this with the DVR X-152 without using Nero?
    (I sure hope so.)

    Any help and/or guidance would be appreciated.

    You don't have to use Nero.

    How to you use this burner without Nero?
    When I plug it into the USB and try to burn it will not work.
    Please explain.

    You don't have to specifically use Nero, but you do need to use a DVD burning app of some sort.
