Can some help with error message

    Every time I try to update my TMPGnc Plus I get the below error message:

    (1608: unable to create installdriver instance, return code 214722164)

    Does anyone know what this mean or how I can correct it?

    Dunno Harrison.
    Maybe it means you need DivX5.1, or RegClean.

    Yeah I can read(!); TMPGenc (to make MPEG VCDs?)
    Didn't think you could update it, however mine always quits working after 30 days...
    But it is a great program. If you bought it then they could help you. Otherwise, RegClean, reboot, and another 30 days with a the newest one.
