can someone help

okay so i was using mimesis v3 and i was downloading arieal got on my drive but when i star halo 2 it say its damaged

 

When you installed the map pack did you copy over the mainmenu.map file with it? Also, did you clear out the cache files in the X, Y and Z drives?

 

i just saw that map so i down laoded it i only down loaded one map could it be that i dont have the halo 2 mappack not on my hard drive yet

 

and no i didnt clear all those files cause i didnt know we had to im a newbie basically at modding

 

Yeah if any of the modded maps you downloaded are modded versions of the maps containment, gemini, backwash, relic, terminal, sanctuary, elongation, turf or (i forget the last one), then you will not be able to use them since these are the infamouse H2 Mappack made by bungie. Also, if these modded maps are not put in the C$ folder of the E drive, they will not load. Even if you edit the mainmenu.map file, these maps must remain where the origonals are.

 

okay ill do that and see what happens

 

okay it worked but when i tried to put echosatation in the same folder it stop working even my bungie mappack

 

Just don't use that map then, obviously the map is incompatible or maybe corrupt?

 

i gess ill just play the aerial map
