My laptop has been acting funny, a blue screen with text comes up and then the computer reboots. Hi, That sounds like a BSOD, not much of a malware problem, but since you've posted your HJT log; we'll clean you up. * Run HijackThis * Click on the Scan button * Put a check beside all of the items listed below: O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe * Close all open windows and browsers/email, etc... * Click on the "Fix Checked" button * When completed, close the application. Also, you've got a hell of a lot in your start up, I recommend you remove some. Click Start --> Run --> type "msconfig" (without the quotes) --> click the startup tab and uncheck the following: dumprep 0 -u NeroCheck.exe AnyDVD.exe ybrwicon.exe qttask.exe iTunesHelper.exe msmsgs.exe pg2.exe (you can keep AnyDVD if you desperately need it on startup note that you only really need it when your copying a protected DVD, so why not just run it when needed?) Once you've done that, get back to me and I'll give you the next step.
I did the changes that you suggested and everything seems to be working better, but just to be on the safe side I ran a new hijack and have included the log. thanks for the help!!
