can someone tell me how to burn at 1* speed pleeease?

    hi,
    I want to burn my cd/dvd at one speed, but for some reason all softwares nowadays start at 4* as a minimum writing speed.. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    What software are you using and why the need to burn at 1X?

    On drives faster than 8X you cant write slower than 4X
