I just wondered if you can add anything to an srt file that makes the subtitles appear bigger when you watch the video on a divx player. They usually turn out to be difficult to read. Anyone?

I should have made clear that I mean my DivX player connected to my TV, not the program for the PC.

(Clever that you can only edit a thread title but not the post...)

Some formats do support changing the size of the subtitles, you'll need an editor to check it though

Wouldn't make any difference for a SAP. The size of the subs is determined by the font in the firmware. If the player is MTK base, there are utils for editing fonts. Otherwise if you use xsubs, since they are bitmap based you can make them any size or font that you like. Some players also support VOBSub's which once again are bitmap based so the same goes. xsubs will work on all divx certified players though.
