    It says it cyclic redundancy. I can't copy this movie and I need to. As soon as possible. I tried Nero, Shrink and Decrypter. What can I do?

    What movie? 99% of CRC errors are disk related, either it is a dirty, scratched, smudged or imperfect disk. In which case try cleaning it or take it back. It can also be protection on the disk dependant on what movie you are trying to backup.

    I agree it is disk related. I just wouldn't give up and finally used ReAuthor on Shrink. It seems the problem was only 1m 29ms into the movie so I edited it and were off. Hey I have noticed that when I shop at bargin stores online for DVD-Rs, the price can be a vast difference from $20 for a hundred to $65 dollars for a hundred is it really worth it to pay the extra, I mostly burn for myself and a few friends. I must admit I do get alot movies that seem to stick sometimes is it really the quality of the DVDs are like of quality should I say. Peace and Thanks again
    PS The movie is about if you can Hustle you can Flow get it.

    arniebear,

    Could I also get a Cyclical Redundancy Error due to copy protection? Just curious because I thought that I had gotten this error before when my anydvd was not as up to date as it should have been? I believe the movies were the newest Sony protection. Well like I said I'm just curious, I should probably keep a personal log because I forget about some of the problems that I've had and when they reoccur my recollection is vague at best.

    dickeyjay ,blank media can vary alot from store to store as in fakes Taiyo Yuden being the one that you have to be carefull with.
    i would stick with supermedia store.com ,meritline.com or rima.com

    those are the ones you can trust

    you can buy the Taiyo Yuden online at either for under 33 bucks a 100
    and you arent going to get fakes .its def. the way to go.

    stick with good media TY ,verbatium or Ritek or stuff that codes out as TY .you will be much happier in the long run trust us

    @dickeyjay

    I agree with aabbccdd stick with the reputable online dealers that he listed. The difference in price is only going to be a few dollars and at least you know you are not getting ripped off. I just want to add to his list

    http://www.newegg.com

    Also very good and reliable.

    I have tried New Egg and Superstore. I usually go with New Egg because the shipping is so cheap. Others may beat them in price but they lose in the cost of shipping. Well I need I a hundred.
    I will compare the Stores the "Senior Members" suggested.
    Thanks you
