can the original dvd player in xbox be replaced?

    i didn't realize that the dvd player was a computer dvd player, so i'm hoping to replace the player due to disc reading problems. does anyone know if you can replace the dvd player? thanks

    Yes you can replace the DVD drive for the xbox.
