Ok I have a bunch of music cd's and downloaded music that I want to burn. Is there any way to compress a bunch of music tracks on a single cd and if there is what program is the best to use?

what are you trying to make, and audio CD or a mp3 CD? If you want to make an audio CD, that can be played in a stand alone CD player, you cannont compress any music on them. the format is uncompressed PCM audio. The best you can do is get 90 minute CDRs and fit a bit more music on.

Yes depending on the bit-rate when you rip the mp3 format
you can easily fit over 100 songs on a cd-r in mp3 format.
(At an average bit-rate of 156 bkps)
