Can you copy a HD-DVD

    can you copy a HD DVD I am useing dvd shrink and any dvd and have no problems with any other dvd except the hd dvd's

    is there any news of any info on when or what will be comeing out as far as software

    There is a feature of HD-DVD is called Managed Copy. What this feature will allow you to do is make one copy and put it on your media server, for distribution around the house. Currently the final AACS spec is being delayed because of concern over this feature, but MS has some vested interest in seeing this come about, so hopefully it will still make it. But I wouldn't except to see any movement on the consumer side until summer '07 at the earliest.
