Hey I have a hardmodded xbox and i was wondering if you can shut the chip off some how and easily turn it on again? And if you turn the chip of does it go to MS Dashboard? Thanks for all your help to come
If your "hardmodded" xbox is a TSOP flashed v1.0, then yes, you can add a switch and swap between the retail BIOS and a hacked bios. If you have a chipped box using a multiple boot chip such as Xecuter, Duox, or (enter whatever other chip here), you can boot to the retail BIOS by reading the instructions that accompany the chip (do a web search). Sometimes it requires a press of the eject button, sometimes it requires a quick tap of the power button. If you don't know, you will probably have to open up the box to see what kind of "hardmod" you have. Check on the version of the xbox also. TSOP flashed later versions can only boot 1 BIOS I think.
