I just bought a new canera that uses the XD Picture Card. I was looking for a USB card reader and found one made by Fuji that uses the XD card and functions like a flash drive. Can you wear out a picture card ?
The only part I could see maybe wearing out is the edge that actually connects to the device. Possibly wearing off the conducting material. I don't see this as happening to early since I'm sure they knew this would be installed and removed many times during its life. Jerry
if you mean wear out like it will eventually lose it's capacity to store data.. then yes, it will. But it'll be long time before it wears out.
