I read where you have tried different brands, use these only as a LAST resort they are horrible discs, I recommend Verbatim or Sony (made in Japan) Burning too slow, increase speed to 4X You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml
thanks everyone so far for the help i find it slightly weird that it shows i have roxio on the computer as to my knowledge I've never had roxio installed on my computer. I was able to successfully copy from an iso image using DVD Decrypter earlier thus forgoing Nero so perhaps those 'roxio' drivers were interfering. I have taken your advice and run that roxio zap program I will try again with some TY media I have here and see if i can get nero to burn. again thanks to everyone thus far.
