    Total newbie here
Ive been burning disks by using "copy disk" and choosing the number of copies I want. I have saved the compilation but when I try to burn it straight from the harddrive all that burns is a small .nri file. So I have to use the copydisk every timke i copy something and waste that time it takes to load onto the computer.
Anyone any ideas what Im doing wrong?

If you want to save the copy to HDD, use the image recorder.

    Yes.
It will create an NRG file on your HDD.

Managed to do it, thanks, but now the file will ot open properly from the disc. It is fine when opened from the hardrive but it will not open from disk. How do I burn the file without it being read only?
Also, How can I put some kind of protection in it so people cannot copy it so easily?
    Thanks for the help

    One thing at a time.
Try opening your burned disc using DVD Shrink.
