Whilst using the internet with her (WIRELESS) laptop my daughter encountered a internet explorer warning box (somthing like "another computer? is attempting to ACCESS? CONNECT? REMOTELY ect") with a number of choices what to do about it.She Panicked and clicked one (she doesnt remember which one except it was not the one marked "RECOMENDED") Now when trying to connect all she gets is the "THIS PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED" Page with "Cannot find server or DNS error Internet Explorer" at the very bottom. According to network connections "Wanadoo is CONNECTED, Signal strength is EXCELLENT", BUT CANNOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET With her laptop. EVEN THOUGH THE WIFES LAPTOP CONNECTS OK AND SO DOES MY DESK TOP CAN ANY ONE HELP!!!
re run the wanadoo instalation cd and choose to add a new computer and choose wireless install... failing that reformat the laptop and reinstall wanadoo then.... there are other ways around this problem but the above are by far the quickest
