My computer runs Windows XP home edition and InCD version 3.39.0. When I try to format a CD-R disc, InCD tells me "A supported media is not inserted".

    Details:
    1) I put a blank CD-R disc in the CD-RW drive (drive letter E)
    2) Right click the InCD icon and choose the Format option
    3) Wizard asks me to select a drive, giving me only one option (as expected):
    (E:)(0, 1, 0) HL-DT-STCD-RW GCE-8520B 1.00
    4) The next page then has the message:
A supported media is not inserted.
    Please insert a rewritable disc

In an attempt to solve this, I downloaded the latest version of wnaspi32.dll from the Ahead website, and put it in the same folder where the old version of wnaspi32.dll was located (I renamed the old wnaspi32.dll to wnaspi32.dll.bak). However, I still get the same error message.

I am completely stuck! I would really appreciate any help you would give me in solving this.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joey
