I am a noob so bear with me. I have used AVICodec and it says that the codec in my AVI file is supported. Now when I try to open the file with TMPGEnc, it says "cannot open, or is not supported" What do I do from here?
Open TMPGEnc, close wizard. On main page Option>environmental setting>VFAPI plugin, raise Directshow Muktimedia File Reader priority to 2 by rightclicking on it and raising the priority.
Can U help me as well? Don't know if this is off topic or not..Just put in new Brd & CPU..So anyway went to use TMPGEnc DVD Author..& it said [Could Not initialize decoders]..So I Re-Instaled it same thing. Can't figure it out! Appreciate any help,I can get
Tried the advice and it did not work. I guess I should've been more specific with my problem. It is this, I have downloaded a movie and am trying to burn it onto a DVD but cannot get TMPGEnc to work. Why is this??
It certainly sounds like a codec issue but if AviCodec says the proper ones are installed -?. You could always open the file in GSpot to double check and also ensure that the Multimedia change is staying set. If you exit the program, it won't. I have been caught that way. Other than those, I don't know.
TMPGEnc DVD Author is NOT the tmpgenc we're talking about. DVD Author is just that, an authoring app, not an encoder. We're talking about tmpgenc encoder, aka tmpgenc 2.5x plus.
rebootjim..I realize that, just thought due to the fact that U were discussing TMPGEnc,U might have a little knowledge with my problem.Never happened before, course never fried a CPU before either.Just tryin to get backup & running.I'm not trying to interrupt your session, sorry if U take offence. One other thing Mainconcept works faster & finished product is much better then TMPGEnc
