cannot open avs

    hi im usung avi2dvd and i get message "cannot open avs" before free encoder starts. do i need some type of codec? why cant it open avs?

    Do you have AVISynth installed? What version?
    Can you open avs files in VDub or equiv? How about the avs in question?

    sorry for not posting earlier, I downloaded avisynth 2.57 and it works. so thanks for your help.
