canon digital camcorder

    hey i have a canon digital camcorder and everytime i connect it to my computer usign usb it will not connect not even the symbol at teh bottom right saying "new hardware has been found." What is the problem i really need to get this fixed soon.

    Make sure you have a good usb connection, camcorder must be on and I think windows must have plugandplay enabled.

    My zr600 ,usb connection is for the sd card only (still pictures)I have to use a dv connection to pull video from the camcorder
