JUST WANT TO WARN ANYONE ABOUT TO BUY THE CANON POWERSHOT A300 ITS A GREAT CAMERA BUT ITS ONE BUTTON DOES ALL FEATURE REALLY BITES.... YOULL FIND YOURSELF LOSING THAT KODAK MOMENT TRYING LIKE HELL TO GET THAT BUTTON TO WORK... ITS REDICULOUS... I CANT BELIEVE A COMPANY THATS BEEN BUILDING CAMERAS AS LONG AS CANON HAS... WOULD HAVE THIS FEATURE ON THE BUTTON THAT SNAPS THE PICTURE.... NOW I KNOW THIS ISNT A CAMCORDER BUT THIS CAMERA IS A DV RECORDER AS WELL AS A CAMERA.. SO THIS IS JUST AS GOOD OF A PLACE AS ANY TO POST THIS WARNING...
Ok, first off, caps are against the board rules. Please turn the caps key off. Second, the A300 camera is just that... its a digital camera, its not a camcorder. Therefore you shouldn't expect it to give you digital video quality. The video feature of the A300 is just that: its a feature, not the predominant aspect of the device. If you wish to take video with a device, save up for a miniDV cam and go that route.
