I've been useing canopus procoder for some time now. with in the last week i installed win-sp2 audition 2.0 and acrobat reader-3d version. My problem is when i start to encode it freezes up after a few seconds. the only error i get is when i try and an audio filter. it says (AVI reader: The directshow graph could not take canopus renderer.) and Module application error (classstatus). What does that mean. I unistalled and reinstalled canopus. but it sounds like a directshow filter problem of sort. i don't now what directshow means. i have the latest k-lite codec pack installed. Thank you.

DirectShow is the Window's default DirectX filter for video and audio.
I cannot halp you more on this, but I can suggest you to try DirectShow filter Manager: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multim...-Video-Codecs/DirectShow-Filter-Manager.shtml
It will analyze yout DirectShow's filter configuration , will be able to re-set it do Window's default configuraton (click on 'Troubleshooting', then 'Restore standard DirectX codecs').
At least, in this way you can restore your filters, if that's the problem.
    Bye
