    I have been scouring forums and trying to find a solution for days on end. Some help would be greatly appreciated. I burn a vcd or a svcd with menu's onto a disk and when I want to access it on cd rom, it shows 5 files with data. How do I get the menu to show from clicking on my cd drive location???
    I've tried different drives and discs.

    Please help me, going crazy.

    Hey Tod ,
    Question, u r trying to have the menu show up when u insert the cdr, right. if so, what u need to make is what call an "autorun.inf" file. look on any program like yr OS for example about what i mean. its states what the pc need to do first before or while the program is installing. most will be short and some r long, like u wouldn't believe.
    but all-in-all it all boils down to an two to three line txt file. this an example of what u might see. [Autorun]
    open=autorun.inf
    icon=autorun.ico

    I'll check back here in a day or two to see if anyone has takening my advice.

    Oh by the way sorry for entering my email address in my first advice reply. Oops, my bad

    Hey, thanks for the response.
    I didn't want to autorun I just meant I couldn't access the menu of a vcd/svcd. I wanted to distribute the cd and have the viewer be able to read the menu, therefore they would need a software player to support that if they didn't have a dvd drive. Obviously I need a freeware player to distribute but I'm yet to find one that supports the menu function. They will play the videos but can't seem to find the menu. After 5 days and nights I've given up.

    Cheers.
